After doing my dream trek sandhan valley in june i wanted to do two more treks in june so that i could enjoy my small vacation of 17 days...parth was done with his c.p.t exam so we had planned to go somewhere but we hadn't decided any spot..we both were much eager to trek some place(well,that way i am always eager :))..even parth was feeling the heat now since he didn't trek any place after our lohgad trek way back in june 2012..phew!! we decided to trek torna which is an easy one but a beautiful one and also very rich with its history..also it was easily accessible to us..now we started asking everyone for the trek..gauti,abhi,apoorv,vaibhav,ajit,aniket were not going to come since we had trekked sandhan just a week back..i decided to go with parth's friend..i had done rajgad and lohgad with them so i was knowing them quite well..so finally we decided to trek this place on 21st june but destiny had other plans..i asked apoorv to join us.after sometime he said yes but then he wasn't ready for 2 days trek he was ready for a 1 day trek..we agreed..now we were total 7 people..since apoorv had to come back before 22nd we decided to leave on the evening of 20th itself..so we had to hurry up and pack our bags and we also had to inform parth's friends to get ready and reach at his place before 6..they agreed..and this trek was planned all of a sudden..it made me and parth particularly very happy..i had no camera with me this time because it was damaged during our sandhan trek..i asked for camera from many people but couldn't make it..anyways that was not going to stop me from trekking torna :)..everyone gathered at parth's place..we were all set for our trek..we left at around 6:45 pm from parth's home and the bus was around 7:00..on our way to bus stop gauti called me and he said he'll join us too..i was very very happy then..he joined us in 5 mins..we were at bus stop then waiting for velhe bus to arrive..and here begins the drama..while we were waiting for bus apporv's father called him and asked him to come home and not to go for the trek..apoorv was shocked and so were we..finally he decided to leave..since he said no gauti also refused to come since he thought now i might extend the trek to 2 days..so we had to move on now..couldn't cry upon that incident..gauti decided to stay with us till the bus came..we were having fun there..gauti was pulling parth's leg..we were enjoying..we waited for almost 1 hr..everyone was getting desperate now..it was irritating..everyone started bringing in negative thoughts but i still had a hope that the bus will eventually come its just a matter of time..finally after a wait of 2:30 hrs velha bus came..i was relieved.we left for torna finally and i started remembering my time that i spent in S.T. during my visit to rajgad..old memories evoked..i was enjoying each and every moment of our journey..everyone else was resting..i was missing gautam and vaibhav..finally after our journey of almost 1:30 hrs we reached velhe the base village for torna..now we were finding some place for shelter..we asked locals about the same..they told us to stay nearby the primary school..this was going to be another new and kickass experience..i had heard about people doing this at treks..i had done few treks previously too but i never experienced this..everyone was very hungry so we had dinner there..now we were thinking of climbing the fort during night itself but the locals told us,"don't climb at night..actually you people have come at wrong season and it is only today that the rains have stopped else it was raining really hard here"..and could be seen..he was right..velhe was the place which had received the highest amount of rainfall this year..so after lot of discussion we decided to trek torna in early morning..so we all slept nearby the primary school..actually hum trekker log kahi bhi set ho jaate hai..i had no problems sleeping there...infact i was great experience and i had a good sound sleep there..no one was waking up..finally i had my last shout at everyone and everyone was ready now..we started out trek at around 7:30 or 8:00 am in the morning..we asked for the way which goes towards torna...devesh went through that road and came back again saying,"ha rasta chukicha aahe..pudhe vaat disat nahiye"..we took him seriously and didn't check out for the way..that was the biggest mistake we made at our trek...the day of mistakes and accidents began..we returned back and asked an old day about the route that would take us to the top but again believing her turned out to be a mistake..she showed us the way..we started following that way but we didn't knew we were going to land in a trouble..our journey towards torna began..

I had heard it took only 2 or at max 3 hrs to reach the top and since we started quiet early i thought we can easily reach the top well within the expected time and explore everybit there..now we were clicking some beautiful pictures on the way so we started moving quiet slowly..greenery had set in everywhere since it rained quiet heavily there..small waterfalls were also seen on our way..devesh and alok went too ahead and now we 4 were going together..susmit and aniket were too slow now and hence they were left behind by me and parth..we were enjoying there in that waterfall had a small photo session there..while crossing that waterfall i had problems carrying my rayban with me which i was wearing so i put it in my bag after we completed it and told parth to watch whether i had put it in the right place or not but he didn't pay attention to it..i too took it lightly and placed where we generally place our waterbottles..later i discovered i have lost my rayban which was 15 years old..i went on to see near that waterfall but didn't get it..also it was very slippery there so couldn't reach their properly..this was another bad incident which took place with me..i was very saddened..after all i had it with me everytime i went out for trekking an it was rayban mahn..but you have to move on..you can't over the same things again and again..

parth wasn't comfortable in his shoes and the condition of the shoes wasn't that great too..he removed his shoes and started trekking..i told him not to do so since the road there was not good enough but he didn't listen..we were going ahead and we saw a crab there..parth got frightened there and came running back..haha..that was funny moment..still he didn't wear those shoes..now susmit and aniket were left quite behind so we decided to wait for them..we waited for them only to realize that we were completely on a wrong path and the fact that devesh and alok are on a total different track..now we were clueless what to do..we tried our luck..we crossed almost 3-4 jungles but still we couldn't see the top..we were walking where the path took us regardless of the fact that we were on the wrong path..susmit was moving slowly and he was afraid since we got lost on the mountains of torna..it was his first trek..parth and aniket were moving very fast..i had to slow down because of susmit..we crossed many dangerous patches..one of them was very tough and got almost all of us..it was quite a headache..we knew it was never going to take us till the top still we had some hope and never really stopped..that's what a real trek and trekker is all about!!!isn't it???susmit now started creating troubles for us since he didn't had the experience he started saying,"lets go back..there is no point climbing these mountains..we are lost..its risky since we don't know this place.."..he was right but the route to get down was tough and even that was wrong..
